I must explain that in my tradition there were never bridesmaids. One witness to the wedding, to sign on the wedding certificate but that’s all. I already had a bit of… ehm… dispute with my own mother regarding this matter. Which left me a bit upset. But my partner hugged me tight and said that if I want to have bridesmaids I can have as many as I want, even if it means introducing a little bit of British traditions into our own. In the end, we do live in England. I also quite like the tradition of  ’something old, something blue, something borrowed, something new’. I could swear that this is also in my country… but some people say it isn’t… there again, nothing says I should just blindly stick to old traditions. Lets mix old with the new!!! )

Well back to my choice… I didn’t have to think long to know who to choose for bridesmaids! My three sisters! Well… One of them is mine, the other is my partners sister and the third is my bestest* friend that I just got used to calling ‘my sister’. Perfect three bridesmaids for my wedding! I spent 3 hours doing hand made cards and writing a special poem. I am hoping that all my three sisters accept the invitation…. I will be the happiest Bride in the world!

I want to complete my studies… prove to myself and to others that I can and I will see the tasks to the end that I have set myself. But for now, somehow it is proving very hard.

I will shortly create my to do list… things I want to complete/ finish/ achieve in my life…

Firstly, I think I will get back to my assignments :P

We are hoping for the best… once I get a job [come-on!!!!] and in about 6 months we will be able to buy our first dream house!

For now… dream on.

I did do some research. You ask what is this vendor paid deposit. Well, it’s a scheme that is not advertised but is available to first time buyers where you pay only 5% deposit on our chosen property. The remainder of the deposit is paid by the vendor. Which is great! Makes it even more possible to become first time buyer! PLUS if the house value is below a certain threshold you do not pay the duty stamp tax on it either! So calculating… 5% deposit + admin fees (about £1,500-2,000 atm) and you get yourself a bargain! Now consider this… if your bank is offering you a mortgage that you know you can afford… then there isn’t a better time to buy a property than now… why? look at the prices on the current market… they are low! Comparing how much particular property was sold for about 3-5 years ago, you will find that the price decreased substantially! AND those prices will be going up shortly as we come out of the recession… which means – profit!

Now it has to be clear that to be able to sell your house in 5 years it would have to be redecorated (preferably neutral colours) and the gardens would have to be in tip top condition… and there you go! That’s my plan… what’s yours?

Second time I attempted to pass my practical driving exam… today. I haven’t even got to the point of putting key in the ignition.. yes, ladies and gentlemen, I haven’t even started my exam properly before the examiner (very nice chap actually) found an aluminium nail in the tire! Come on!!! I haven’t got time to wait until 10th of June to take another exam! So it’s down to ringing/checking online several times a day to find out if someone canceled theirs…

I could use a bit of luck now…

And only on the way to the center my instructor asked me if I want him in the car… of course I do! Just in case I did something stupid and failed… so we can then work on it later. He then said that he believes it is unlucky for me to have him in the car on my second exam… … no it’s not… it’s the car that’;s unlucky LOL! I bet Lady Corsa decided she didn’t want me to attempt this exam today and picked up this tiny silver metal nail on the way in! Ah I must have a very serous talk when I see her next time…

HELLO! I’m ready to pass!!! Don’t spoil it for me lovely Lady Corsa…
